Together We Rock! is held annually in March to celebrate cultural diversity in our Province
How can you participate?
Light Up Your Homes
Support diversity and multiculturalism and encourage Newfoundlanders and Labradorians to welcome newcomers by lighting multi-coloured lights outside their homes.
Organize local community activites such as:
International cultural night
Food and craft show
Open doors cultural activities
Afternoon “Meet and Greet” tea
School events celebrating multiculturalism
Pot-luck lunches

The importance of March 21
March 21 is designated by the United Nations (UN) as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. It is a day observed all around the world and is the date Newfoundland and Labrador announced its Provincial Immigration Strategy in 2007.
